The commemoration of Egypt’s 6th of October War anniversary in 2024 was a major national event featuring large-scale entertainment and advanced visual technology. Hosted at the Cairo International Stadium, the event attracted around 60,000 of attendees who witnessed a breathtaking visual presentation that utilized a massive 3D mapping screen measuring 35 meters in height and 100 meters in width. The football field itself transformed into a stage, which created an immersive experience designed to honor Egypt’s military history and achievements.

The entertainment included a blend of patriotic music, visual displays, dancing, and tributes to the Egyptian armed forces, highlighting the historical significance of the 6th of October 1973, when Egypt launched a surprise attack against Israeli forces in the Sinai. 

The song tells the whole story shown in the video and was the main inspiration for it. It’s about the tough truth that sometimes a relationship has to end, even if the love is still there. This idea is summed up with the saying, "love is not enough." 

The video touches on the painful reality that someone who was once a huge part of your life and shared so much with you can become a stranger. It gets to a point where you can’t even be in the same room together breathing "The Same Air", the english translation of the song’s title "El Mismo Aire" which perfectly captures the feeling of estrangement and the emotional distance that can grow between two people who were once so close.

This new British musical with music and lyrics by Gez Mercer, book by Conway McDermott and Gez Mercer,  directed by Kerry Kyriacos Michael,  is being semi-staged in front of a live audience for the first time.

This dance performance embodies the contemporary challenges confronted by young Lebanese individuals. 

Executed by Lebanese dancers, their portrayal effectively communicates this message to the watching audience. 

The behind-the-scenes footage showcases rehearsals, location scouting, the shooting day, and the dancers' testimonials, providing a comprehensive view of how this remarkable film with a powerful message was created.

PROJEKT EUROPA brings together a multilingual, migrant ensemble and invites them to reconstruct their memories of who they are and where they come from. In a visual, physical performance that blends documentary theatre with movement and music, a mix of professional and community performers recreate their own personal history from memory, interweaving their stories to create something communal out of what at first seems individual.

The wedding of Al Hussein bin Abdullah, Crown Prince of Jordan, and Rajwa Al Saif took place at Zahran Palace in Amman, Jordan on 1 June 2023.

Hussein is the eldest son of King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, and heir apparent to the throne of Jordan. Al Saif is the youngest daughter of Saudi businessman Khaled Al-Saif and Azza Al Sudairi.

Lebanon's young generation faces a multitude of challenges, from a crumbling economy to political instability and social unrest. 

In this powerful video, we see the harsh reality of what it means to be a young person in Lebanon today. We witness the struggle to find daily reassurance in an environment that is dwindling by the day, the frustration of facing a mountain of stressful events, and the fear of violence and conflict that has become all too common in the streets. Through the eyes of these young people, we see the heartbreak of watching their dreams slip away and the pain of feeling hopeless in a country that they love. Despite it all, they remain resilient and determined to create a better future for themselves and their country. 

This documentary film is a wakeup call to the world to pay attention to the challenges facing Lebanon's young generation and to stand in solidarity with them in their fight for a better tomorrow.
